With the aim of enhancing training and professional development opportunities for young Bahrainis and preparing them for the job market according to the latest professional standards, the Engineering Apprenticeship Program was launched in partnership with Tamkeen and Nasser Centre for Science & Technology. The program covers various fields, such as electricity, welding, and plumbing.

The center will announce the opening of applications for the program at a later date.

‎سعداء بتخرج الدفعة الأولى من برنامج “تطوير المواهب” لموظفي تمكين، المبادرة التي تهدف إلى تطوير مهارات موظفي تمكين وصقلها من خلال برنامج شامل قائم على مفهوم تعلّم، طبّق، علّم.
‎على مدى 12 شهرًا، خاض موظفو تمكين تجربة تعليمية متكاملة شملت القيادة، وإدارة المشاريع (PMP)، ومفاهيم LEAN، وإدارة التغيير، ومهارات التواصل، التفاوض، العرض، والتوجيه. وكجزء من البرنامج، تم تكليف المشاركين بمشاريع وتحديات واقعية مكّنتهم من تطبيق معارفهم بطرق مبتكرة تسهم في تطوير إجراءات العمل، وجودة الخدمات، وبرامج الدعم المقدّمة للمجتمع.

We are proud to share the successful commencement of the first cohort of our employees in the “Tamkeen Talent Transformation” program – an internal initiative aimed at enhancing and upskilling Tamkeen talent through a comprehensive program based on the concept of Learn , Do, Teach.

Over the past of 12 months, Tamkeen employees engaged in an integrated learning experience covering leadership, PMP, Lean concepts, change management, communication, negotiation, presentation skills, and coaching. As part of the program, employees were assigned real projects and challenges that allowed them to apply their learning in innovative ways to enhance our workflows, services, and support programs for the community.
Congratulations to our graduates on their remarkable achievements. We look forward to seeing the positive impact of their continued efforts in utilizing their acquired learnings and elevating the workplace.

As part of our commitment to providing the highest level of service to all members of the community, we have collaborated with Invita to enhance our services for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community through “Nasmakom”, an innovative sign language application developed to promote inclusivity for individuals with hearing impairments in the Kingdom of Bahrain, opening the door for them to benefit from Tamkeen’s support.
